The goal of the Global Energy international youth program is to stimulate the scientific work of young scientists and young energy specialists by giving them grants and personal awards. Also important role is given to the identification of promising scientific research and successfully implemented research by young representatives of the scientific community, contributing to the development of the global energy industry. Special attention is paid to the formation of a personnel reserve of future power engineers.
The Global Energy Association has been holding contests for young researchers since 2004. At the moment, 1120 contestants took part in them, and 73 scientists became winners. The total number of grants and personal awards received by the winners is about 50 million rubles.
