Youth and the third version of science: in the footsteps of the Seminar

On April 25, 2019, within the framework of the 55th Anniversary Scientific Conference of graduate students, undergraduates and students of BSUIR, which can rightly be called the Youth Week of Science at our university, a Seminar entitled "Youth and Science 3.0" was held. The event was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Science Sector.
The main purpose of the seminar was to inform students, undergraduates and graduate students of BSUIR about the possibilities of self-realization in the framework of research activities, as well as about the prospects associated with the development of this activity, in particular, against the backdrop of the concept of "University 3.0".
Anatoly Nikolayevich Osipov, vice-rector for scientific work of BSUIR, PhD, associate professor, addressed the seminar participants with a welcoming speech. He outlined the relevance of the meeting, and also outlined the main advantages of the concept of "University 3.0" for students.
Ludmila Khoroshko, Head of the Student Science Sector, Evgeny Chubenko, Deputy Head of the BSUIR Young Scientists Council, Ekaterina Zayats, Head of the Student Business Incubator of BSUIR, and Dmitry Kotov, Head of Izovac-BSUIR Nanotechnology Center, were the speakers at the Seminar.

Lyudmila Khoroshko told the meeting participants about republican and international grants allocated for the implementation of student research projects, awards and scholarships that students and undergraduates who have achieved success in studies and science can receive.
Evgeny Chubenko shared with the participants of the meeting information about the main activities of the Council of Young Scientists, as well as about the events held by the Council for students, graduate students and postgraduates of our university.
Ekaterina Zayats very vividly and eloquently and structured the role of the student business incubator in the research life of students and undergraduates who are thinking about their future.
Dmitry Kotov told about the peculiarities of the activity of the Izovac-BSUIR Engineering and Educational Center, which, in fact, is a good example of the embodiment of the University 3.0 model.
The moderator of the event was the Deputy Head of the Research and Development Department of the BSUIR, Viktor Romanovich Stempitsky, to whom the Council of Young Scientists and the Sector of Student Science express sincere gratitude.
