Congratulations to the winners of the Presidential scholarship
On December 22, 2018, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed an order under number 253 «On the promotion of talented young scientists». Among the rewarded are young scientists of BSUIR.
Elena Belousova, PhD, associate professor, associate professor of the information protection department, was awarded the President’s scholarship for the theoretical and experimental substantiation of new designs of electromagnetic radiation screens and technologies for their manufacture based on nanostructured carbon powders, which can reduce the effects of electromagnetic radiation on biological objects (up to 10 times power); the development of new materials for the simultaneous concealment of objects from detection by means of radar reconnaissance in the range of centimeter wavelengths and means of remote sensing in the visible range of wavelengths.
Andrei Lozovenko, researcher of scientific research laboratory 4.10 «Nanotechnologies», was awarded a scholarship by the President for developing the scientific foundations of technology and operating principles for a quantum microwave generator based on indium antimonide quantum wires with a minimum size of 30 nm and testing them in an electronic device layout; development of methods for the formation of a highly efficient thermoelectric battery from chains of beams of bismuth and antimony nanowires in porous dielectric membranes for microheat-closures and devices with high volt-watt sensitivity and speed, as well as their approbation in experimental-industrial conditions.
Olga Boiprav, PhD, associate professor, associate professor of the information protection department, was awarded President’s scholarship for developing the technology for modifying oxide-containing materials by selectively depositing nano-sized metal-containing clusters on the surface of fibrous and porous media and creating flexible structures of electromagnetic screens based on them that provide a 2-50 times reduction in the radius of the controlled zone, as well as for the means of protection of the human body, ensuring the reduction electromagnetic radiation 100-1000 times.
Here are tha faces of our winner. Council of the young scientists of BSUIR sincerily congradulate them ang wish to work harder to achive better results.
